Dr. Katherine Miller, “Dr Katy” is a geriatrician dedicated to supporting older adults and their families through every stage of growing older. She holds positions at the Royal Melbourne Hospital’s Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and RMH@Home (Hospital in the Home) and is a geriatrician for Holstep Health (formerly Merri-Health) Memory and Dementia Service.

  • Katherine has expertise in all areas of geriatric medicine, with particular interest in after-diagnosis dementia management, cognition and dementia diagnosis, brain health, healthy ageing, and future planning. She is a strong advocate for a holistic and multidisciplinary approach that supports and enables people living with dementia, and, that honours and supports their caregivers.

  • She completed her medical degree and early training in Sydney and specialized in geriatric medicine at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Western Health. Dr. Miller is committed to guiding patients and their families with expertise, empathy, and practical strategies to navigate this season of life.

  • Katherine is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Geriatric Medicine (ANZSGM), the Australian Medical Association (AMA), and the Australian Association of Gerontology (AAG).

Katherine is available for nursing home visits in Pascoe Vale and Coburg.
