Dr William Stokes (Will) is a geriatrician and general medicine physician who visits residential care facilities in Melbourne’s West. Will also practices as a consultant physician at Western Health and Western Private Hospital. Will is from South Australia and moved to Melbourne in 2017 to complete his specialist training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Western Health.

• Will has expertise in all areas of geriatric medicine, with interests in the care of older people with complex medical conditions, including delirium and mental health concerns. Will is also available to assist with transition to living in residential care and end of life care.

• Will values strong communication and the involvement of family members and carers to strive for the best outcomes for patients. Will is passionate about providing quality medical care to older people.

• Will is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (General Medicine and Geriatric Medicine) and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine.
